Experience

I started Helfenbein Insurance Agency Inc in 1974 as a General Insurance Agency. We are located in Chester, Maryland. I bring intuitional knowledge of Estate Planning, Pension Planning, Long Term Care, Business Succession Planning, Health, Life, Annuities, and Reverse Mortgages to the table.

My focus is to serve our community. My current focus is in helping seniors find their way through the maze of government regulations to get the benefits they deserve. I provide products in my toolbox such as: Reverse Mortgages, Medi Gap Coverage, Long Term Care, Annuities, Business Succession Planning and Life Insurance to meet senior needs.

I offer Group and Individual products to take advantage of those products offering tax deduction and guarantied issue.

What do we bring to the table for seniors?

I recently was certified as a Senior Advisor. This gave me a deeper understanding of the emotional as well as the financial needs as we age.

I have held licenses SEC # 6 and # 7, Real Estate Licenses bringing that knowledge to the table.

I recently completed Reverse Mortgage Training which will give my clients the opportunity to stay in their home while using their home equity for their retirement needs, a win-win solution.

We have experience in Property and Casualty Insurance, which allows us to give guidance in using the correct products.

International Networks Created

We recognize that we are in a world market and initiated a relationship with a Chinese attorney in Beijing, China. We have created sister relationships between several major cities in China and Queen Anne’s County.

We arranged to have the Premier Ballerina join the Maryland Arts Council. This was a beginning for the Maryland School for the Arts to really reach out for foreign students of the arts.

The Chinese government invited us to Beijing, all expenses paid, and were given the red carpet treatment, including attendance at a special affair in the Great Hall.

 We imported for the canning season 50 Chinese workers for the Friel Cannery.
